NEW STUFF ARRIVED TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!

My new kite-stuff arrived today!! i'm super stoked and happy!!! big thanks to willi kaspret who made this possible in the first place and a big shout out to all the other guys from core-kiteboarding!! I'm going to ride the new CORE RIOT XR now. The explosive and yet smooth power generated by the RIOT XR will help me progress in wakestyle/new school and in freeriding.

Progression-Session Update: S-Bend-Blind, Back-to-Blind, Blind-Judge 3 down - still some troubles with my Backmobe...

Training is ON...

There was wind for more than a week now... so perfect training conditions at the Neusiedlersee. I enjoyed every minute out there on the muddy waters and progressed quite a lot. Now that the windforecast isn't looking that good at the moment I try to wakeboard a lot. Yesterday I shredded at the cable in Vienna and today I will check out the Ausee in Linz/Asten to do some sliders and kickers :) Keep you updated  and try to bring u some pics and videos soon, cheers!

KTE Austria/Podersdorf 06.05.-09.05.2010

Had an amazing time at the KTE stop in Podersdorf.

Also my first big event did not work out all the way I planned (lost my first heat against Stefano martinelli from Italy and they could not start the double elimination because of the lack of wind ) I had a lot of fun, met super nice people (big up to Johnno and all the guys from the Netherlands, Alexandre from Brazil, Gerad, Mario  and all the other riders I was given the chance to meet during the 5 days in Podersdorf :)

Special congrats to Stefan Spießberger (4th place Freestyle), Michi Schitzhofer (2nd place Freestyle) and Celine Collaud (1st place Freestyle Women).

I also want to thank the CORE Kiteboarding Team in Podersdorf for their nice support. It was a pleasure meeting u guys. Hope to see u all sometime soon!
I think I’m going to compete in one or two more stops of the KTE this year haven’t decided which ones yet.
 

BACK HOME

We are back home by now... it was AWESOME......Tarifa report will follow soon... just need to get some things (like university stuff) straight first... hang on  and rip hard

WHAT UP...

Tarifa is really really windy :) We still have to get used to the strong wind conditions down here but we managed to do some freestyle in the last two days.

I will try to bring u some videos and fotos as soon as possible :)  WIFI sux a bit around town...

I will go to bed now... tomorrow LEVANTE action... maybe valdevaqueros or palomes will decide in the morning.

Tarifa Progression Sessions 2010

I will be in Tarifa starting on 05/04/2010 for 14 days.

I haven't been riding much in winter but watching 1.000.000 hours of kiteboarding videos helped me progress a lot ;)  In Tarifa I will have 14 days to stick the following tricks: BackMobe, 313, BlindJudge, BackToWraped, BackToBlind, DoubleS-BendToBlind.

I will try to document the trip and my progression sessions as good as possible via STICK EAM OIDA!

"Our lives are gifts dude. Being able to shred is a gift. Do you know what introduced you to the shred? I don’t even know, because I know I skate and wakeboarded for a while, not truly understanding what shredding really meant. I don’t think until recently like in the past couple years I really understood what shredding is. Shredding is a term that should not be taken lightly. I know it is thrown around like duuuude lets shred the gnar and shit like that. But shred, shredding and the shred have a deep true meaning. I believe it is a word understood by a select few, and the shred is the only way to describe this way of life. Try to imagine a life without shred, no skate, no wake, no snow, who would we be? What would we live for, what would we get pumped about? What would we think about? What would we try to do with our lives? Its nuts thinking about how much this shred thing has affected our lives, seriously dude, what would we be talking about without our love for shredding, trying to make a shit load of money? But to do what with? Buy a big house and a fast car? I just think that shredding puts a lot of things in perspective like some of the best things in life aren’t hard to obtain if you want it for the right reason, I just think its so badass that we know what fuels us and we know what truly makes us happy and we can live this life, its just a matter of choice, people could see us as bums or losers cause we’re not making a lot of money, which seems to be the most important thing in our society, I dunno dude, I guess what im trying to say is we’re really lucky to have this shred thing cause I feel like all the rest don’t have anything like that and don’t really know what to want other than a job that pays a lot no matter how shitty and time consuming the job is, it’s a trip to think about how we’re just humans living on planet earth and we do this thing we call shredding and we love it, we think it’s the most badass thing that exists, we think about it everyday, we want to do it every chance we get, it really is apart of us, we really do have something that very few have, a passion, something we love, something we pursue, we wont ever change, we are shredders for life, lets all be thankful for the shred in our lives and thank God that we have something that we really do love. This life is short, we will all die at some point, we all have awesome lives especially us shredders, lets live everyday we are able and never look back, we gotta stay true to what we love and not fall into any kind of bs, we have been given many gifts, we are blessed dude, we have a lot, be thankful and live well brotha, shred all you can cause it’s a gift, one life dude we have one life, only one, and we know what we wanna do with it, we’re gonna shred till we die, why would we do anything else!?
